Role Specific Training

Talent acquisition is a big priority for many of the leading companies across many different industries in Ireland today.  As well as being a priority it is also proving to be a big problem as the talent pool of skilled individuals is not big enough to meet the hiring needs of these companies.

In particular companies outside of Dublin are now looking at different ways of expanding and developing the talent pool in their regions. They are working with a number of key and progressive regional bodies tasked with developing people and business opportunities.

One key opportunity that exists for both the companies and the regional development bodies is the opportunity that exists to bridge the gap between people who are driven to get back to work or progress and the numerous open roles in the hiring companies.

These people have all of the attributes to fill the roles except for the critical attribute of the specific skills required by the roles and companies in question.  So if that skills gap can be bridged then this is a definite way of expanding the talent pool.

Future People Recruitment offers a service whereby we bridge that skills gap by running a company role specific training program.  This is a Training program designed and developed in conjunction with a company which is looking to fill open roles.  The training program content is targeted specifically at these open roles and program participants are also targeted at the roles prior to being given a place on the program.

Once the participants have completed the training and have gained the necessary skills and accreditation then they are ready to interview for the targeted roles in the company in question. This company has the reassurance that they are hiring people who have been identified and trained for the roles in advance of the interview stage.  It is taking a huge amount of risk out of the hiring process and indeed gives the company peace of mind.

The people starting in the roles are very confident as they have been trained specifically on the key skills required for the roles and they have been fully briefed on the role and the expectations of the company right throughout the training program.

Future People are running a number of these programs in conjunction with different companies across many industries right now.  We are looking for people who have the drive and determination to develop a new and exciting career path.  Specifically, we are looking for people from the following groups

  • Women looking to return to work after a career break
  • Job Seekers looking to return to the workplace
  • Third Level Grads \ Course Participants who have found it difficult to find employment
  • People employed in entry level positions looking to progress their careers

It is more than possible to bridge a skills gap if you have the necessary drive and determination to do so.  Hundreds of people who have completed our training programs over the last 6 years have gone on and developed brilliant careers in new and exciting industries.  Self-belief is key, the training course is the easy part, having the self-confidence to take the first step and start the journey is the key.

Similarly, some companies have reservations about this “out of the park” recruitment proposition.  The traditional recruitment model is tried and trusted.  However, the companies who have worked with us, and there is quite a number at this stage, have got brilliant results.

There are many ways to solve a problem.  Our “non-traditional” recruitment service “Role Specific Training” solves numerous.  It provides companies with specifically trained and skilled new hires.  It affords people who want to progress to new careers with a great opportunity to do so.  It feeds into the regional development bodies plans to develop regional talent pools.
